This program allows you to experience the wonders of Japan and broaden your horizons.

As a recipient of this prestigious scholarship, you'll receive roundtrip airfare to/from Tokyo and orientations in San Francisco (USA) and Tokyo, as well as room and board with a caring Japanese family.

There are many reasons to participate in a study abroad program and take advantage of scholarship opportunities, including:

  • Make Japanese friends while attending a local public high school
  • Live with a Japanese family (don't forget to take off your shoes!)
  • Learn language skills (no prior Japanese language study required)
  • Enhance your college application
