Youth Leadership Essay Contest - The People's Choice Awards
This year we held our first annual Youth Leadership Essay Contest which offered students the chance to win a $3,000 scholarship to study abroad on one of our programs. Entrants wrote 500-750 word essays on the subject "Why is Studying Abroad Becoming More Important?"
From an overwhelming number of excellent essays, we were absolutely thrilled to pick our winner: Irina Denisenko.
There were so many outstanding entries that did not get selected that we decided to offer a People's Choice Award in which public voting determined the runner up from our first contest.
We are excited to announce that Tanager Tanager is the winner of our People's Choice award with 106 total votes. Tanager will receive a $1000 scholarship towards one of our programs for winning the runner's up to the Youth Leadership Essay contest.
